DAM Wiki downloaded these files on 2026-09-30 from public vendor URLs (no login needed). No authenticated call was made.
Frontify does not publish a single downloadable schema file, and introspection is disabled for unauthenticated requests (and, per the vendor, must be enabled per customer account for the GraphQL Explorer). Instead, the official reference site frontify.github.io/graphql-api-reference/ publishes one raw SDL file per schema member (".sdl files … built for agents", see its llms.txt). The file below is the concatenation of all of them.

Assembly notes (the only non-verbatim part)
- The first 7 lines (
schema { query: RootQuery mutation: RootMutation },type RootQuery,type RootMutation) were added by DAM Wiki so that the publishedextend type RootQuery/RootMutationfragments form a valid document. Root type namesRootQuery/RootMutationare the ones stated in the developer docs ("Endpoint and queries" page). - Member files are ordered by kind (scalar, enum, interface, union, type, input, query, mutation), then alphabetically; each is included byte-for-byte, separated by a blank line.
- Validation: the assembled document parses with
graphql-corebuild_schema()→ 19 queries, 143 mutations.
Cross-check with the legacy reference
- The older generated reference
https://frontify.github.io/graphql-reference/(still online, 2026-09-30) reports 19 queries, 144 mutations, 699 types and flags beta / deprecated members. The one mutation missing from the SDL set isdispatchAutomationAction(beta). - Beta flags (legacy site): 6 queries (
catalog,catalogSelection,guidelineNavigationItem,guidelinePage,guidelinePageBlock,serviceApps) and 87 mutations; deprecated: queryproject, mutationsaddAssetMetadataFieldValue,createMetadataField,deleteMetadataField,removeMetadataValue. - Some documented beta fields that require an extra development-flag header (e.g.
dynamicPreviewUrl,X-Frontify-Development-Flags: PUBLIC_API_DYNAMIC_CDN) are not present in the published SDL.
Updates
DAM Wiki refreshes these copies when the GraphQL changelog (https://developer.frontify.com/document/31#/reference/changelog-1) announces changes. Quick inventory:
